>>6943723I work in the Bay area and work IT, 100k a year. Just frienda with a lot of stores to save me things as they are coming off the truck. Also buy lots of good deals on bst, Facebook (since I'm at a PC all day anyways) and then flip them at shows or on eBay. It's very possible to turn a huge profit on scalping. Plus if you have a business account you can get discounts on shipping which helps a tons.
>>6944362I agree I'm kind of a pile of shit..
But I'm happy, I have a huge collection and I'd say I barely put any money into it. Playing with toys is just as fun as selling them to me.
Toys r us closing is a big hit to me, I had 7 around within a pretty short distance. You'd be amazed what managers would do for you when you tip them to hold thing and check out with cash, individually for each item in order to leave them tons of surveys.
I had such good relationships with some of them I ended up with 5 Geoffrey costumes. Cleared almost 10k on those.
Then you get this money and buy in bulk from distributors and the money keeps growing and stock keeps growing, etc.
It's a lot of fun. But I hate people like me. Ruin it for lots of people. Good times
