>>6965095>implying green armymen aren't fun to play withI'm not especially a fan of Mega Bloks figures, considering how restricted their posing can be, as I'm too used to 1:18 and 1:12 scale figures being a hundred times more poseable. So it's like bad posing vs great posing vs great preposed. The latter and former have their strengths and negatives, so it's hard for me to say one is worse than the other.
Still, i look at the scenery stuff here and MegaBlox is always so lacking, except when it comes to the vehicles, because it's always so rough looking. Even the mostly unique pieced stuff like the shipping contrainers look out of place, which i bought. Whereas with McFarlane, all the sets can be stuck on everywhere and still look whole and finished, while being hugely customizable.
Building the sets is always so fun and they're just more fun to play with because of that option to continuing building and still looking cohesive
>>6965078Pretty realistic, but you'll have to make it Shadow Moses during the summer and shipping containers would be hard to do.
McFarlane needs to do more modern stuff, hence their needing the CoD license. I'd love me some modern army men, even if they can only move their heads, waist, and arms on swivels.
I have no problem mixing and matching MegaBloks with McFarlane, but the actual MegaBloks blocks are so damn cheap feeling. Been buying a lot of MegaBloks at TRU with the clearance and i can;'t believe that their plastic is still so bootleg like even after Mattel bought them.
