>>7006350OK man, it's /toy/ seems we had some misunderstandings, not here to argue, you got kinda of a chip on your shoulder, let me clear things up I guess.
the danger set does not resemble a single thing It's a mish-mosh of the control room, danger room, wrong colors, clunky parts. It's not a good set. If you didn't have issues with it falling apart I really question if you played with it. It just doesn't work well.
>As far as “resembling nothing, just check out pic related.OK, let me clarify, the water toy is a unique toy only item that is not based on anything. Isn't that the whole point, wolverine looks like the character. The back of the blackbird doesn't highlight this, it's part of a bigger item. You don't buy the water toy cause of how iconic it was in the comics. You buy it to play in the water. And it's great for that!
>There was never a clarification made by anyone that this was a discussion on basesNo, that's true, but I was trying to highlight that in general toybiz failed but still had successes. They made a lot of bases and playsets and most were bad, seriously long list of trash. The cardboard spider-man set being one of them.
>>7006503 is straight wrong. The TMNT and Ghostbuster bases are absolutely better than the spider-man one. They hold up today. Plastic > cardboard
>If it doesn’t count, the Blackbird doesn’t either. Right, that's actually fine and kind of the point I was making. I guess it wasn't clear when I said that. I was saying a vehicle wasn't phoned it, that their playsets were trash, but the blackbird and that water wars floater are good toys. They're not good buildings though. A water toy is certainly different than the daily bugle. You're right, there was no specific qualifications, but I cannot accept that those two would be considered to serve the same purpose. I guess maybe for someone else you might not care, so that's cool. Unless you want to bring your cardboard building into a pool...
