But time have changed and there are more and more parents that want their kids getting further away from traditional girl brands and society encourages it too. As such dolls are getting weaker by the year and for Mattel girls division that's a death sentence. So they are trying to pull out all the stops in hopes they can bring it back to the front like Hasbro did with MLP, a line that for almost 20 years struggled to even keep space on the shelf.
