>>6969199It should be noted that Inhumanoids, like Jem, started out not as an actual 30 minute TV show but as a series of 10 minute Adult Swim style shorts.
Jem, Inhumanoids, and two other Hasbro shows (a Big Foot Monster Truck show and Robotix, which was a Zoids rip-off) were part of a thirty minute anthology series that ran on weekends in syndication.
It was used as a testing place for new Hasbro/Sunbow shows with Jem and Inhumanoids proving popular enough that their serial segments were recut with new footage to create a new five part 30 minute "mini-series" to launch the properties as weekday afternoon shows.
The original serialized shorts are long long gone and lost to the ages, making them lost media along with Robotix and the Big Foot truck show.
That said, Sunbow did drag shit out by only featuring TWO of the Inhumanoids (Tendrill and D'Compos) as the main big bad for the first 4-5 episodes. And in particular, D'Compose was portrayed as a shockingly competent villain and one that was super super hard to defeat while the first five episodes themselves dealt with the other two trying to free Meltar (who was supposed to be stronger than the other two, though the writers never really pulled off making Meltar as big of a threat as D'Compose).
