I can't imagine a fleshed out, historically accurate theme that appeals to children. I think a Greek mythology line could happen between Greeks and mythological creatures though. Somewhat close, we're had Vikings and Atlantis.

I used to get those a lot because we lived in the middle of nowhere and my parents wanted to encourage my lego addiction.

That's where I got my original POLICE and restaurant 1x6 transparent bricks, and I've made heavy use of them my entire life. All of my 2x2 brick lights with electrical cords coming out the back disappeared sometime in my dark age, but I still have the signage bricks.

Sure it does, not much in terms of interior, but a couple of control sticks will do. I had some weird ideas, like make the jaw slide vertically, and have a minifig sit on a gun barrel in it, but doesn't feel like it possible for me to build this any time soon.

In the background? Yes? I never keep the Lego buildings stock for very long after the initial build. I made it bigger with more rooms, incorporated a burger joint on the corner on the first floor and backrooms, storage, and an office upstairs. Thanks for noticing. Ah man that is awesome! Loving the cool colours and minifig! It feels fresh and cartoony but still rather believable. The outfit of her really fits the build and colourscheme too! (I have some faction of those lightaqua headed figures myself on the backburner) If the hands have trouble holding the levers, I'd try replacing them by two black nozzle pieces attached into clips. (the handles of the nozzles would still be able to hold the centre console together in the middle)

They could make a prebuilt base, similar to what they did with the minecraft creeper.
Unfortunately they can't go in too much detail while making it a playable fig, just look at the illegal connections in that moc you posted. Using more parts for details would bring the figure to a size inconsistent with the rest of the characters.
Then again, the characters are too stylized to translate into lego form properly. It's going to be the same as the Incredibles minifigs unless they don't fuck up and actually use bigfigs for the ones that absolutely need it.

I think we'll most likely get constraction figures or brickheadz. First ones might turn okay due to the character proportions. The second ones will be nice to have as part packs once the stores start clearancing them, just like the Disney and JUST League ones :^)

As a bonklefag living in the land of neverclearance, I'm torn. On one hand CCBS is hideous and I don't want to pay 40 euros to a company that farted on my face for a stylized plastic doll with wobbly parts. On the other hand I want new stuff to mess with and I really want the various pieces the company is making to fix the crappy CCBS system. Back cover, specialized upper/lower limb shells, neck collars and more.
I wish at least they hadn't discontinued mixels without replacing them with something similar. Like small creatures and mechs based on various old and new themes. A stone ogre for your power miner/rock raiders to run away from, a dragonewt for your knights to fight, a scarab to chase explorers, or a futuron security bot for your blacktron and spyrius to evade.

I didn't want the Mixels line to end, it was too soon in my opinion. I guess it was because of a bunch of waves that weren't as interesting as others, and ended up shelfwarming for too long. Or at least that happened in my area, in fact I got a bunch of wave 5 and 6 bags for cheap back then.

Fortunately they keep using the new parts they introduced, for now. But it was so neat to have access to said parts in such a cheap package

Truth. Lego will go full license by 2025. I liked Lego once but this is not the Lego I used to know. The Lego Movie changed them. We might not even get a new Big Bang theme next year to replace Nexo Knights.

That's not what the term "licensed theme" means. Friends and Ninjago are in-house themes because their IPs were created by Lego.

I also would've mentioned the XALAX theme, but I actually really enjoyed playing with those sets. I got a whole bunch of them for my birthday one year and thought they were kinda ehh, but once everybody came over and started ramping them over complex jumps and loopings and shit I really started likeing them. Their hood pieces are still used very often in moccing too.

I would argue that the 4juniors sets were worse than galidor. Galidor was at least distinct and memorable, albeit bad, while 4juniors was just bland and chunky without really bringing much else to the table.

I don't hate them or anything, it was just a specific theme that really embodied the simplification/juniorization of sets with very little parts. City sets at the time had the exact same problems but I didn't choose it for clarity since City a as a whole bleeds into the town era before and era of improvement after. I liked the half-pipe and chromed pieces.

It was fucking fun back in the day, simple designs with pullbacks and a decent lego lore, if such statement can even be said. Seconded. Drome Racers was an excellent racing theme. They beefed up the setting by making everything take place in "a near future" in a bigass space age... drome. It featured the extremely marketable elemental/regional areas (jungles, deserts, glaciers, whatever) and spiced everything up with different teams with distinct colors. Builds were varied from the smallest pullbacks to different scales of mid sized stuff (Nitro Pulverizer was similar in size to Exo Force Bike but they were scaled differently) and to the big stuff like RC cars. Also, those sweet sweet stunt tracks.

Most licenced themes I would consider good but not the the best. Same with Ninjago. Belville was terrible but offered interseting pieces so I can't place that in the top five. All the other original IPs Lego offered like Exo Force and Alpha team are nust middle of the road for me.

Oh I agree. The masks are too mushy and the prints are too overdesigned. Not to mention, I think Hero Factory made their minifigures look cooler and less cutsie by both using blank heads and having the mouths molded into the mouths. You know, as opposed to the "minifigure in facepaint wearing a mask" shit they have.

Why not have 3 of the two brick tall window pieces for the windshield?
You'd lose a bit of the curves, and it wouldn't cover the sides, but would take up way less space.
Might be worth trying at least.

Unikitty is a multiversal phenomenon. The most well-known type is the Unikitty, Cloudcuckoolander, more commonly known as a generic Unikitty. Other realms give rise to their own Unikitties, including Cybertropia the techno world that requires its Unikitties to be a binary pair.

Interestingly, native Unikitties don't arise on a world unless they're visited by an outside Unikitty. The Cybertropia Unikitties spontaneously formed out of nearby spare parts during Unikitty's first visit there.

Unikitties aren't bound to their native realms (obviously) but some of them are more predisposed to wandering than others.
