Hey /toy/, what's your relation with your personal life regarding toys?

Are you friends, family and lovers aware of your hobby?
Do you post pictures of toys in Facebook?
Do you do the Onions Grin with your latest Funko?
Do you have a personal instagram that has toy pictures or even a Toy Instagram?

I'm a 25y toy collector and when I buy a new toy I try to post a photo of it in my personal Facebook. Ironically, my Instagram has barely any toy photos or toy stories. It's reserved for friends, girlfriend and photos from my whereabouts.

I also never post a photo with my toys. But I had to post one with Roy Mustang, since he's my favorite character from animes and the figure is kinda rare to get (it's an early Play Arts from 2003).

My friends are aware of the hobby. I don't have in real life any toy collector friend, and most of my friends mock me for spending money with my collection. But I have some best friends from the internet and we discuss a lot about toys, and even share shippings from AmiAmi and other sites. They live in other states.

My girlfriend likes some animes, and she enjoys my hobby. I plan to buy a toy for her someday.

Parents are ok, as long as I pay my bills.

And you? How do you handle a personal life and a collection of toys from a society that mostly judges us?
