Used to start off collecting cute anime girl figma and generally impulse-bought anime figures, and then ended up liking franchises that are more """normie"""-accepted (like Berserk and /v/shit like Bayonetta, Bloodborne, Uncharted).
Got a job, sold off the anime figures I wasn't interested in anymore, started buying better-looking statueshit and figures from those franchises, and my collection looks more like a pretty display than a cluttered collection of cute anime girls. And I don't spend as much from not pre-ordering a lot.
Well enough, my partner, family, and friends like it a lot more, and so do I.
