>>6988524>>6988526>>6988540Im not pretending anything, you might have missed when I said "whats the margin" meaning I wonder how much do they actually make off of each sale. The cost of making these is somewhat lessened by already having the machinery and the sculptors/renderers/designers/painters/employees already employed. All of that is already accounted for in their CODB because they are already a company that makes mass quantities of toys. I bet its definitely more expensive to make these than it is to make their normal stuff especially when you take licensing and QA into account, but they're also definitely making a profit off it or else they wouldn't be doing it. I love NECA as a company but no company is in the business of doing favors. The licensing is actually probably what cost them the most out of all.
But anyways, getting back to my original statement, all their other stuff isn't guaranteed money. Its all pretty much a gamble. They make some really cool shit like the Del Toro figure, but he's probably still available to buy and they probably made 1/4 what they made of the TMNT for him. Just like their Gremlins and Predator and all their other stuff. You have people literally cussing and screaming at eachother over a box set of ninja turtle toys that nets you over a million in sales, must feel fucking great on their end.
