The fact is that Takara can't please everyone, nor they can know what you think looks "good". They had to choose, and they go for show-accuracy nowadays because that's what most of their japanese consumers want, like pretty much the majority of all the other collector oriented lines out there. Just deal with it already.
Like, seriously, the Transformers fanbase is one of the most entitled ones ever. Most other lines don't have as many options as this one with all those 3rd party offerings.
And I'm not even a geewunner, by the way. I like Beast Wars way better and that's the one I watched as a kid.
