One thing I'll say is that theres no way 1/12 gear will be as meticulous and workable (like straps, zippers, belts) as their 1/6 equivalent.
They could have just not been so fucking greedy with the prices but no, had to keep increasing the price of 1/6 to the point most average people could only justify 1 or 2 a year, now the new 1/12 clothed trend is looking like the affordable one, but there will be absolutely zero parts compatability and zero kitbashing possible between 1/12 and 1/6 so its like starting over from scratch basically. Not to mention, the quality of clothing and fabric really suffers at such a lower scale
>>6988589 and so in order to get it looking good and more detailed it will probably be more expensive and raise the price of the figure to near 1/6 scale levels, bringing us back to square one.
Ultimately I can't see any benefit for this over overall lower price and maybe saving on space, but 1/6 is still the superior format, just such a shame that all the companies are greedy especially Sideshow and Hot Toys and the average price of even a decent 1/6 figure is like $200 now.
