Yeah, I'm looking into sending him one of the spare Red Venoms, and maybe a Red Viper.

Just picked up a batch of ships someone found in their attic.... gonna end up with a ton of duplicates.

I have a busted up version of the good guy ship with all the mini ships inside, but missing loads of pieces. Got it from a car boot for a couple of quid when I was little.

My mate had a mint one of the big red ship that was his older brother's, I was always so jealous, but loved having epic space battles with him.

I miss when you could get good shit from car boot sales.

It's taken me 30 years to realise that the gold guy was leader of the air-force. Surely it would make more sense if he was the ground forces dude and the silver guy a flyer?

I left a message on one of his videos yesterday. Not heard anything back from him yet. Sadly he seems to have closed his PO-box address due to how much stuff he was being sent, and I can't seem to use the in-Youtube messager, either because hes disabled it or my adblocker is killing it. :P

My cousin (who's about 8 years older than me) had these when he was a kid. I remember seeing them when I went over to his house as a young boy and just being in awe of them.

They are pretty 'uge. I have to angle the Venom 45 deg just to fit it in my IKEA cabinet. The Manta Ship has no chance. Won a big batch on e-bay recently, so I'll be able to see if the fortress fits at all when I receive that.

Just had a quick look at that stuff on e-bay. Pretty cool looking. What scale are the infantry?

Slightly amusing that the ambulance they released seems to be some type of knock-off convertible caddy. :P

Neat. Kinda expensive on the 2nd hand market compared to the Manta stuff though. If it was cheap stuff I'd be eying it up for 'Dark Future'.

I picked up a (battered) copy of the Main Manta ship for about £15 last week. Really I just wanted it for spares - a few components on the one I had before were missing or broken.

You can see the lineage though. Several of the Zero Hour kits use the same missiles that some smaller Manta guns fired.

Don't remember mate, it's at my parents' place. I know the canopy is cracked, don't think I have any of the black bits at the front or the stuff that goes in between the base and the saucer. The missiles at the back are missing, I think a lot of the missiles/canopies on the mini-vehicles are missing too.

It's not a thing I want to complete, just reminiscing. If anything, I would buy the red ship, but my wife would kill me.

The canopy on all these ships tend to crack. Think it cost me £30 to get a pair of complete, unbroken ships (One Manta and one Venom).

Of course, I then ended up with two more Venoms because they came packaged with other things I wanted. :/
