Hasbro makes toys for children, you expect them to invest effort? It's also a girl brand, they have gone extremely lazy on girl brand since the 80s, which is amazing as they gladly push a feminist agenda with their tie-in cartoons yet practically insult everyone's intelligence with the laziest toys possible to sell to everyone, enjoy literally the same body 50 times with crappy hair, cheap clothes and minimal paints. They also know Jin & Walky are so loyal they will buy 3 of everything Hasbro makes to "support the company" so it doesn't matter, their fanboys would buy actual dog feces at this point. They'll probably go full tranny to get into next year's Hascon because Brian Goldner wants them to be SJW.

Is it intentional that all the dolls look like deformed Mutants(they are somehow related to horses in the lore) who also are all clones (only painted differently)?

Anyway, I hate this fucking company. The toys are always inaccurate. I don't want something that barely approximates the ad of a show or movie that promotes it. I want that thing on the screen. Whether it's ponies or Transformers, fans and smaller companies have delivered screen accuracy. People with less resources and infrastructure than a company who sells worldwide.
And Hasbro doesn't just commit ad fraud. The plastic quality is bad. The toys themselves are hollow. Size class toys are being scaled down to save money. The prices are going up. A deluxe costs as much as a voyager used to.

Meanwhile for like 20€ you can buy a plamo. It's accurate, it has more range of motion than you know what to do with, the plastic quality is astounding and the engineering is just as good.
Fuck, Hasbro and LEGO alike are reaching so far into our pockets that they think they have us by the balls.

I chalk it up to the "good enough" effect. They're shit is made to acceptable enough quality that most people who don't otherwise care would buy it for kids who otherwise wouldn't know better unless explicitly given a superior alternative choice.

Hasbro is within that medium of consumer complacency where it's not so bad that literally nobody at all wants it, and not so good that it gets ravings everywhere you go. It's just standard old-guard corporatism.
