>>7010111Upgraded my Velociraptor Blue to the BD and gave my AP ver to my sister. The arms are still made from the same rubbery material, just that they're now on ball joints. Honestly though this upgrade in the arms isn't a big deal at all because it'd look silly anyways if you moved it too far off to the side, she'd look like a chicken flapping.
The hips are so heavily ratcheted that you're really only getting some extra bit of range compared to the AP, actually maybe less even... Which is the most confusing decision on this entire figure.
The best thing about the BD is the fact that there's a perfectly normal ball joint on the neck. The slightly better paint helps too but the paint QC on my BD was worse than my AP Blue. Unfortunately nothing much I could do since it was the last one on the shelf. Luckily these aren't that hard to fix paint wise.
The consensus still stands though, the most posable versions of the dinos are in the BD line. The best thing that could happen to Carno and Rex were if they were to get the posing equivalent without any of their automated gimmicks.
Again though, hard to complain at these prices if you're buying Stateside.
