I myself prefer the hybridization of MP-10, as well as many of the earlier MPs where it takes more of the G1 toy's aesthetic melded with the proportions and sensibilities of the G1 line art. To me, MPs are at their best when they look like "realistic" versions of what was in the cartoon abd I think MP-10 nailed that. Other examples of the MP aesthetics I like to see are the Datsun bros, Sideswipe, Soundwave, Grimlock (though it was far outclassed by FT Grinder and probably GP's offering as well when that hits), and the MP Seekers (though admittedly the engineering aged pretty poorly). It makes me sad that so many companies are shying away from that for G1 MPs.
That being said, MS's offering does look good (way fucking better than HasTak's new Prime MP) but the aesthetic just isn't for me. I'm also worried about that crotch panel.
