For some of these that might be a factor but a lot of PAKs they've made go for crazy prices even though they have no exclusivity over the characters
They just happened to be the only ones who bothered making a figure. Like Quiet or pretty much the entire MGS cast. Their Miku is also more expensive than the millions of other Mikus available from GSC/Bandai/etc
At least the Machine 2-pack looks like it's actually doing down in price so picking up some of those for a little squad isn't out of reach now

I am surprised that the Weltall costs the same as the Zenith but taller(16cm vs 11.5cm) and more ABS parts(90% compared to 50%).

Junya Ishigaki did upgraded concept arts for 3 gears. So the Bring Arts will have his input. It is pretty much Ebikawa and Beecraft upgrading their 00 and Astray designs via Metal Build.

So these are legit designer endorsed figures.

They should start with Claud and Squall and then print 100500 variants of those two.
Although all Bring Arts line seems weird from start.

Actually I don't mind current diversity.
Just saying all line seems weird. First you do most popular characters who surely will sell, Then rerelise and reprint thouse. And only then you do some less popular characters.
Bring Arts doing this not standart way. And this is good to me. Otherwise we don't ever see some characters like Kaine.

Usually when this happens, it's because the manufacturer is working out an official western release with a domestic retailer. Import sites are told not to put the Japanese release up for overseas customers in such cases. HLJ gives no fucks and always puts them up anyway, though.

Overall he's pretty decent, I don't know if I'd say he's completely worth his cost, but I also don't regret. His wings are just solid hunks of plastic, and without a proper stand (he sort of just balances on these crystals) it really limits what you can do with him, almost might as well have been a solid statue.

The thing is, Figmas are a bit more polished so you are always more aware of having to avoid hamhanding the figure to avoid damage to the details like paint chipping, dents, etc.

2B is a lot shoddier and sloppier by comparison, more in the spirit of Bandai's early AGP releases. Any additional scruff marks or paint chips it gets along the way only seem like it's always due of the very mediocre QC and finish right out of the box.

2B also got delayed, and we all know how she turned out. On the other hand though, Bahamut is really good. The paint apps have been this line's biggest fault so far, and on him it's perfect, so maybe they've worked out the issues. Odin comes out next month, so I guess we'll see how he is.

He's a ways off, and again, Bahamut's paint is actually good, so I'd say he at least has a chance. But it is still Square, and I wouldn't put it past them for Bahamut to be a fluke and to never improve the line overall.
