>>7053333>I know that’s to be expected, but there was very little in the way of dealsUnless they were bought out, there was only one guy selling Revoltechs there and it was Moguera. He was asking $50 and just wouldn't budge, not even $5 off. He told me "do you know how much these tables cost?" which fair enough cause I genuinely don't, but I was there for Sunday and noticed it was still sitting around. I tried convincing him that the box was a little "muddy" and he picked it up to show me a mint sealed version as well LOL
I found a couple of things I was on the hunt for (new vinyls) but you have to know the tricks. Most importantly you have to be there obscenely early to score the, at best 5%, of good deals in the dealers room, I completely missed out on the Marmit Desu Goji and Biollante Rose for that reason. Also I'm 99% sure almost every vendor as you walk into the room had ridiculous prices intentionally (a good way to take advantage of exciting kids) and some guy unironically tried selling me a keychain for $10 that I found for $3 across the room.
There was a cool dude in the top-left section of the room (not in the corner, but looking towards it) that had competitive prices, and was selling the Burning Godzilla X-Plus for around $250, and a table selling the Bandai Premium Frankenstein and Gaira+Sanda for $75, but otherwise you're mostly looking at a lot of old-head vendors living in their own bubble. When you have kids dragging their parents into the event, and guys like that one lunatic who bought the SHMA Biollante for $1000, it's gonna take some time before it gets better.
