Ugh I really want the SP//DR BaF but only want Kaine and maybe House of M Spidey from the wave. What should I do? Should I buy the whole wave and sell the figs I don't want to recoop the cost. Or should I buy the two figures I want and wait for an eBay coupon to buy the BaF separate? I checked today but like the other anon said last thread, there are no actual completed BaFs yet.

I finally got around to finishing cull, and he's pretty nice. I've got some gripes, but for the most part he's one of the better BAFs they've done. They even gave him the right hinge for swinging the hammer, even if his shoulders and elbows don't really want to cooperate.

Yeah I know the rotation is fucked.

uses the same pants as Old Man Logan, but has a new chest sculpt. Seems a little bigger than the other Wolvies. Also, none of the heads swap well among the other Hasbro Wolverines.

Sneering head looks pretty bad compared to the vintage.

Pre-ordered the case and have the Absorbing Man figure, so I'm in the same boat. Will probably keep the Absorbing Man figure as my classic venom, use one of the new ones as Pork Grind, and keep the spare for eventual custom fodder.

I really like the idea of Hasbro including alternate heads to convert spares into different characters. It was neat when Dirk Anger came with Fury too. Hope it's a trend we see more of in the future.

Honestly, I like the legends the most out of what's actually out now. The build is right, articulation is above average, and the finish is properly shiny. I actually ordered a set of those shapeways superior spider legs for him just before the mafex got announced, so we'll see how that goes.

The lack of legs and the way the head isn't colored the same way as the body put me off the ML version
I also like skinny Spiderman over the more muscular ones that are usually found in the ML line so these import ones are more my thing
I'll probably still pick up the ML once Hasbro inevitably makes a second version of it with legs and blue eyes, though. Speaking of blue eyes, weird that not a single Iron Spider figure has gotten those yet

I mean, It'd be nice to have a happy medium somewhere in between, but I'd go with the more accurate version every time. Bandai's sculpts have obviously been a little cartoony since stuff like their AOU hulk, but it feels like they didn't even try with iron spider.

It's closer to Campbell's body and the head/eyes is McFarlane. Don't ask me why they mixed them like that
Either way, it's a better attempt at the style than Hasbro's which is literally a reuse of the Pizza body with inaccurate eyes

Neither of the art styles have those sickly, spindly limbs or gigantic hands and feet or hideous shoulder tumors. I'm not saying that Hasbro is perfect, but time has not been kind to a lot of toybiz sculpts. Hasbro definitely has better articulation and a cleaner sculpt.

The one on the right in that picture is usually regarded as the best Tobey Spiderman figure. Insane amount of articulation and a good sculpt
If you meant unmasked Tobey Spiderman, you'll need to search for the Scooter version which is the same figure but came with an unmasked head, a scooter and a pizza
As far as I know, it's expensive but you might luck out on ebay or find someone who's just selling the figure/head and doesn't know how much it's supposed to cost or something
