Anyone know where I can get a optimus prime figure for cheap? I've never had one before and the ones on ebay like the cybertron one cost an arm and a leg.

I remember buying my first Optimus Prime for MSRP 39.99. it was the Cybertron one. Years later, Wing Saber never showed up in my stores, but the movie series sold a Wingblade that worked the same way. good times.

Like, under 10 bucks? You're probably fucked unless you want a tiny one.
But,the new show is a out to launch their new toyline in a couple months and that'll have a bunch of optimus toys of different prices

Same thing happened to me and Wing Saber, really wanted him for that combination but he never showed up. Happened on the Walmart exclusive when it was on sale and he works great too.

Hunt down flea markets and garage sales. You might find something incomplete for sure but good enough.

Also, if you are into the classic Optimus, going to your local toy store to buy the Power Of The Primes Leader Optimus would be a great idea. Even at full price. He's big, impressive looking, fun to transform, and have lot of play value. His only fault is the weak cab mode.

Of course, MPs are their own thing. Is till think G2 Laser Optimus would be perfect if it was in classic colors, though.

Now that I think of it, the first Optimus I have owned was after my degree and getting a real job (my cheap parents and poor childhood).
It was the titanium War Within Optimus, bought it at Target for about $16.

are they worth anything now? I have a few transformers and gundams in shoeboxes from way back.
I think the movie class was ~$50 and cybertron around 60
