>>7012442Crowbar is okay, he’s a retool of TLK Berserker who I fucking hated because he was a mess of panels that never lined up but somehow Crowbar does it a little better. His dreads are pretty annoying though and don’t really go anywhere in vehicle mode.
Stinger’s great but his car roof folds up into a huge chunk of kibble that vaguely resembles his arm cannon except way over sized and mounted on the side of his arm, and it doesn’t come off.
Bumblebee has issues with falling apart, notably his roof is barely held on by friction, mine was so bad I just even have to touch it, there was absolutely no catch on it, but I just heated it and gently applied pressure to tighten the clip and it stays on fine now. Otherwise he’s pretty great.
Ratchet’s a little boring and has a lot of back kibble.
All the voyagers are excellent, especially Prime and Megatron. Thundercracker is a bit of a let down, I was enamored with Nitro Zeus when he first came out and Thundercracker is my favorite seeker, but getting the mold again it’s just kinda lost the magic, and at least mine and a couple of reviews I watched have shown signs of mold degradation.
Blackout made me actually like the character after the old voyager made me hate him, he’s a bit of a panelly mess and being off by a millimeter in transformation will make the whole vehicle not work but once you get it down he comes together nicely.
Grimlock is fantastic, his transformation is simple but involved enough to be fun and he’s got a beautiful paint job all over.
Overall, the line is pretty good with a few nagging issues here and there that mar otherwise excellent toys.
