>>7011673>>7012110Know what? I think I will take that line of thought seriously.
>a) best packaging?Gotta say Robot Damashii, simple, compact and lets you see the product. However some of the model kit's do have very lovely box art but there is more to packaging then just the art. And to be honest if I was judging off box art alone? Gundam wouldn'\t even win in that case, I would give it to the HMM Zoids
>b) best articulation?Real Grade model kits have best articulation. Shame most of them don't like being posed
>c) least QC issues?Any of the model kits. I encountered no QCissues with them and very rarely hear anyone bring up any issues compared to action figures in general. Not having paint helps reduce QC
>d) best bang for your buck?Toss up between the old Assault Kingdom candy toy line and the standard HG kits.
>e) best accessories (including stand)? It usually depends on the individual Mobile Suit in question, but if I narrow the specifications to focus on products that release more accessories then neccessary for the character, then Robot Damashii. Particularly the A.N.I.M.E. variants of the figures. different effect parts for thrusters, gun fire, rockets, and even different shaped beams to look like the beam saber is in mid swing.
>f) best likeness to property?A toss up between Perfect Grade kits and the Fix Figuration line depending on how anal you want to get about requiring any degree of paint. On one hand the PGs have absurd amount of details, going so far as to even have an internal skeleton frame the armor is placed onto, and the internals are just as well sculpted as the parts you actually see. But despite having an AMAZING level of parts seperation requiring next to zero paint, it is still a model kit and will look better with at least a panel wash and matte spray.
