>>7019470>My biggest regret was the saga never having a definitive ending.Same here; though, I'm thinking of going back and doing something with my own so I'm retconning the ending to mine.
Originally, I had planned for the final arc to be a tournament for the fate of the world and the digimon people, the dominant group at the time, that was issued by the Dark Gundam's Specters as a challenge to them and their allies. I didn't have his motivation or plan figured out back then, though, I was thinking of him as the ancient evil kind of villain.
In retrospective, I think it was a shame because somehow I had never made a tournament before but I wasn't feeling it anymore and I got tired of hunting figures.
The two last toylines I got into before leaving the hobby then were MSIA and the vintage Saint Seiyas, though most of my toys were digimon, so I had to shove them into the already fucked lore (which included Beast Wars, Small Soldiers, brick kaiju I made myself, pokemon, etc.) somehow. So gundams were made into artificial vessels for the souls of ancient heroes and deities, which worked IMO because I only got the G Gundam ones, and Saint Seiyas were warriors from a then unkown region that only intervened when there's a world-class threat.
And fuck the prices for the MSIA figures now, Jesus. Why does Bandai have against G Gundam?
