>>7023122It's a collectible card/comic/toy store of narrow aisles packed full of MISB toys and comics gathering dust, but the basement has hundreds of tupperware containers full of sorted but unwashed pieces that are usually 5-10 cents above cracklink price, but sometimes you find rare-ish parts for cheap. About half the containers have their prices marked. To buy some pieces, you take their shopping baskets and put all the containers of pieces you want in them, then you take them upstairs to the counter, take out the pieces that you want, put the lid back on the container, then hand the container to the lady behind the counter with the pieces balancing on the lid. Then she writes the quantity and price down on a ledger, puts the pieces in a bag, and takes the next container from you.
One time I found blood on a Technic pin with stud, but I always wash them thoroughly in hot soapy water twice and then soak them in Simple Green for a day before I put them to work.
