ordered kuroto and his bike! i was on the fence between this and the level 0, but my reasoning was that every 1/12 figure i own could ride his bike, whereas the continue pipe only really works for him

Finally got Beast in hand so Wizard isn't just there alone, waiting for my Gatack and Cross-Z to ship in sometime next month. He's a really weird figure, with weird proportions, a wrist joint that juts out a bit too far for my liking and all the common Wizard SHF issues. But I really appreciate Tamashii Nations giving us the bottle of mayonnaise. I hope with the SHFSS Wizard coming out Beast won't look too bad standing next to it.

>>7021509 I dunno if it's just the lighting, but that ghost figure looks like total garbage
E-Ranked Luck !!Uwa19rWouRL
>>7021513 Oh yeah, the Ghost figure IS total garbage. His clear orange plastic started fading into a greenish-orange and it happens across all Ghost SHFs to my knowledge.
Luckily I bought him for only like 14 USD.

>>7021528 Really? Mine hasn't changed color at all?
E-Ranked Luck !!Uwa19rWouRL
>>7021575 Huh, that's weird. Maybe because mine is exposed to a bit of sunlight too, but everyone I know in my circle has it being green-ish, but I'm not bothered enough by it to change it.
If it's going to turn green again anyways I would rather save that money for other future releases.
Anonymous
>>7021509 Cool display, though I chuckled when I saw Kamen Riders encroaching even on the Ultraman shelf. Still, far cooler than my various setups that have Hot Rod rubbing elbows with Keaton Batman and Devilman next to a Predator and so on.
Ironically, I did have all my Ultraman stuff separate before beginning to pack up for moving.
E-Ranked Luck !!Uwa19rWouRL
>>7021589 Haha I wish I had more space to be honest. Amazons are always just kinda there but I can't bear to take them out. The problem will be when I eventually get into Showa, more Ultras and Zi-O's eventual release.
What's your Ultra collection like? I only got into it around Geed because of it jumping lines to SHF and I managed to get original Ultraman and Zoffy for cheap.

>>7021509 Strange, Kiva's base form as a Figuarts never got made, is that the Souchaku or S.I.C Kiva?
E-Ranked Luck !!Uwa19rWouRL
>>7021597 I posted this last thread but basically it was a really elaborate kitbash/repaint of the Souchaku Henshin.
I used Kiva Souchaku's body, Kiva Garulu Souchaku's leg, Converge Kiva's head, SHF Emperor's fuestle holders and painted up the Kivat and Souchaku hands.
I've just been waiting since Gaim, got sick of not having a figure for him and decided to throw a bit more money than what was worth.

>>7021594 I've got SHF OG Ultraman (two of them, the normal release and the 50th anniversary set), Geed, Orb Origin, Ultraseven, OG A Type (a huge surprise and maybe my favorite of them all so far) and Jack is on the way. All the kaiju and aliens look appealing but I haven't dipped into them because of economy of space and my general eclecticism makes it hard not to blow large amounts of money. Given Jack is out now and I'm not as into later Ultraman I'll probably look into them more in the coming months.
I also have several of the Shodo waves. They're cool, though I've lapsed on them a bit for the same reasons. One of the best bang-for-buck toylines around, in my opinion, and the gum isn't bad.
E-Ranked Luck !!Uwa19rWouRL
>>7021690 How is A Type as a figure? I haven't really watched reviews on it but it's pretty funny that they would make a intentionally beat up mask sculpt.

>>7021698 I bought it on a whim because I'm a big fan of the original series in particular and consider it easily one of the best Ultra series, and I like how specific it is. Regardless, it's not just a OG Ultraman retool; it's a very different figure across the board and the attention to detail for what must surely be a little niche even in the Japanese market is impressive. I like the more organic look of the face and have always wished Ultraman would revisit the more organic look in an anime or something where it's more easily accomplished. Very cool stuff.
>Did you preorder X though? I've never even seen X. I'm not terribly interested in the figure. Like I said, I'm not as into post-Showa Ultraman (or even Ultraman after Return which I hope gets decent subs soon) which is why I might start looking into picking up an alien or kaiju or two going forward. I would like Nexus, though.

When he's in the suit he's really over-the-top but that's about it. Then you get these episodes like the mynah bird or that one where he's waiting for the Phantom in a bed to shoot him and you're wondering where the hell this Haruto is most of the time. Compare this to literally any of his movie appearances. He's over-the-top, he's sarcastic or egotistical all the time acting like he's an amazing mageshan, he's constantly smug, he's always poking fun at his friends but he very clearly cares for them, and he's a show off.

Belial Atrocious came in today.
Anonymous
>>7026287 Some parts pop off too easily. For some reason it's been his left side. The shoulder pads are on plastic clips. I'm pretty sure it's done as a safety measure to not ham hand the guy. His left fore arm also popped off, kinda like how SHF Akuma's arms can pop off. It doesn't pop back on as securely as I like. Might drop a bit of glue down there, but it depends on how much the forearm needs that swivel.
Anonymous
>>7026297 The original Ultra Act Belial was an incredible figure, especially considering it was one of the first UAs. There are a few flaws too it, mostly in the hips, but it holds up very well. The articulated jaw, articulated fingers, and Battlenizer effect parts are great.
SHF Belial Atrocious isn't as cool, but it is neat. If you have the choice between the two, I'd say the UA is still worth getting. UAs were bigger than SHFs. Belial Atrocious comes with his own Giga Battlenizer, which is a little smaller, but the head parts are a bit thicker, so it can't use the UA's effect parts.
Anonymous
>>7026310 But if you want an undead space god to terrorize your toy shelf, Belial Atrocious will do very nicely. He kind of reminds Me of the flayed god final boss in Asura's Wrath, which is cool.
Now excuse Me as I rage against the heavens for having no Asura's Wrath figuarts.

I got Belial Atrocious and Cross Z today. Cross Z is great, he shares the same body with Build so he poses as great too. The Cross Z Dragon is also very detailed, which helps the belt looks a lot better. I had a lot of fun posing him, even more than Build. Belial Atrocious is the figure I looked forward to the most this year. He looks great, sculpt is superb, weathering is on point, the eyes are really pretty. But everything pops out way too easily in a scary way ( even worse than the timer on Orb Origin). What's your experience buying loose, used, DX collectibles on Mandarake? What does "minor damage" really mean? I know Nips tend to exaggerate. I'm just looking at some Lockseeds, hoping that the silver paint isn't scratched. Would that be too much to ask for?

>>7035815 Minor damage is nonexistent- maybe a bit of paint slop from the original creation. You're fine.

>>7035824 said it's probably going to reek of smoke, my Mystic Brothers box still has that smell and the toy slightly does as well despite owning it for like three years now, but probably no damage at all. They basically just put "Minor damage" on every single listing.

>>7035815 On Mandarake if it's anything like pic related they HAVE to document it and include it in the pictures. You will most likely not get anything super damaged though. Something something Japanese honor makes them not try and swindle you gaijins.
Unless you're a Transformers fan because from what I can tell they don't actually transform anything before they buy it to resell it. Amiami is particularly guilty of this I've gotten stuff with stickers taped with masking tape and shit like that, only not documented because they'd have to take it out and transform it to notice. Be wary of anything that transforms or can have shit hidden.

It's really shitty that the LvP repaints aren't nowhere as good as past repaints where the gimmick was the mech. They're all gasha quality, meaning their only purpose is for the changer instead of a new head piece since they're all LupinRed repaints anyway.
