>>7032573>>7031072I really like the one freelance Decepticon dude who’s just a team of five ants.
He was the villain of the week in the only episode of RiD I’ve ever seen, and it seemed like such a brilliant concept—one small, deluxe-sized combiner made out of identical component minicon-sized bots, each of which is interchangeable as a limb or the main torso, and which collectively share one hive-mind. Imagine trying to pummel someone built like that, who could just kinda...disassemble themselves right as you take a swing at them, and suddenly you’re covered in ants, or getting the life choked out of you as he re-forms around you in a sleeper-hold.
I’m disappointed we didn’t get a toy of that, especially considering that the individual ant-bots don’t seem to need very many moving parts to transform very from insect to limb.
Anyone else frustrated that Prime had great writing and character development with fairly bland transformation concepts, yet RiD apparently has transforming werewolves and crayfish, but bland writing (and terrible-looking toys for the ones we got)?
