Just picked up the NECA Crash Bandicoot. Would like a decent Mario, Link and possibly Sonic to go along with him, where should I start?

Oh that's super cute. Might have to go for it, love the classic Sonic design vs. the later edgey designs.
Overall Crash's posability is pretty great, the key is his ball joint articulated eyebrows. What a crazy detail.

He’s a little too big to be in scale with crash, but this sonic is your best bet if articulation and display options are your priorities.

The issue in making Sonic articulated is that by default his limbs are thin as hell. It's why the Jazwares figures broke, the joints were tiny, not that their shit plastic much helped but the small size was a main issue. They need to be a larger scale to make the joints durable.

Oh, yeah, that Crash looks amazing. I really want to get it but just haven't yet for absolutely no reason. I used to have a Resaurus Crash back in the day and I'm all about getting updated awesome new versions of toys I had as a kid. It's such a great time for updated versions of great childhood toys.

It scales better, yes, but it definitely doesn't look better. Classic 90's Sonic will always be better in every way than the modern design and games
