Indeed, but the AvP figures were better. Maybe once they give a new Wolf and Predalien we can agree that AvP:R is the worst film with the best toys.
There's always Resurrection too, i bet the figures will be great.

Godzilla 98' toyline was pretty good. The TV Series toys that got cancelled could have been the best Godzilla toys. Man,I miss Trendmasters

They were pretty good! I was lucky and found the basic figure of Randall. His glasses are removable, making him perfect for either movie.

Either your standards for movies are too high or your standards or toys are too low. Idk what your beef would be with the burton planet of the apes movie, it's a decent action movie. These toys however are total shit, they're happy meal tier.

Trendmasters hit it out of the park with Godzilla. hate the design or not, the figures were loaded with paint, relatively cheap for big figures, and amazing amounts of detail. I'd even say if Neca were to make a modern one, the only thing they could improve upon is articulation. Plus Trendmasters made the design a bit more bipedal in most of the toys, which improves the look.

Trendmaster's Independance Day is another good example.

I remember everyone was so obsessed with Avatar and then I'd go to stores and all the toys would be clogging up shelves on deep clearance. It was a really interesting experience honestly.
