>>7035335>There were plenty of large sets with lots of pieces that were clearly geared toward adults. So you're saying the Giant 80s Krang robot wasn't geared toward adults?
And that's not really the point, because the blocks and other pieces are just so chintzy feeling. They pop off in the way that LEGO and McFarlane bricks don't, like they're spring loaded.
>The real problem as far as pieces goes is that many of the parts are specifically shaped Meh, i don't think this is a problem, because i buy the vehicle sets just to make the vehicles. The playsets are so minimal and the plastic is so cheap that i wouldn't buy them.
>Who honestly gives a fuck? Its fucking building blocks.Have you not noticed that people in the MegaBloks threads have been saying they want bases and even try to make their own?
There's obviously demand for that.
>also Mcfarlane isnt really as modular as other building blocks. Theyre only good for the inteded build. You obviously never built their sets or noticed that practically every McFarlane set is made from the same blocks they've been using since the Walking Dead stuff. stuff like the Towers is nearly 95% just the prison cells.
I think the main reason you don't believe they're modular is because few people who do MOC have bought into the line. Shit like this is made from a single $24 set. You never see anyone with MegaBloks do this. You only see it from LEGOs, but it's not as cool, because ancient ruins that look like this would be amazing to see with Megablok figures fighting terorists/commies/nazis from.
