series 3? no kickstarter, it will happen near the end of series 2 (fantasy) of course you will pre-order each wave as always but everithing will be after on the store, no Four Horsemen bullshit so you dont need to worry, take a look on series 2 fantasy and the female gorgons (their tail engineering is really amazing), you need to get at least one

...so what we know about the rumor of scuba diving operations figures from Marauders? If I remember well the same anon mentioned we will also have females too (think about how well the basic body will work for space-like conversions)

And according to Full Force Podcast, they're revamping them a third time to include characters from their graphic novel concept they were trying to do. Those characters are now part of series 3, which will run concurrently with series 2, which will continue past wave 5.

Also incase anybody wondered, the Fallout Mega Merge figures are compatible in size for your Hacks figures. They have shit articulation, but you can have power armors standing with them and not have it look out of place.

Although, did they said or make you think we will have only diving accessories or a new full underwater body suit? did they mention something about female body too?

Abut all this future diving equipment... sounds like a thing we can see in a future kickstarter but now it makes me wonder if they will offer only the diving figures and accessories or they will also offer more stuff (remember with the exo suit KS we also get the K9, the mercenary guys and the male and female agency ops, plus some recolors of the existing tooling) so again, this makes me wonder if we will see more stuff in that future kickstarter and what...

who knows, maybe the diving ks will be part of the Vietnam war one OR they will make one in near fall and after (like summer 2019) the Vietnam one

It's a Netflix show about a real 80s tv show called G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling). It was a ripoff of WWF but with women.

Funko figures are cheap at least and they might be good for background in a diorama.

I think you need to do modifications so I think not but you can combine a a flesh toned blank with a colorful one to create the basic clothes, then add some belts and boots, the boxer gloves if you want, maybe even the fur accessories in the fantasy series

GLOW was a syndicated wrestling show/sketch comedy show in the mid-80s. Basically F-List female comedy sketches about various female wrestlers (all of which are cliches like the fat housewives, a rule 63 Muammar Gaddafi gender swap, welfare cheating black ghetto trash, farmer's daughter, husband killer, rip off of Bridgette Nelson's character from Rocky 4, a fat white voodoo priestess who dressed like a housewive, generic good girl bimbos named after sports cars, etc).

The guy who ran GLOW was a sleazy TV producer who roped in Sylvester Stallone's mom to help fund the wrestling league (she was the benevolent authority figure). But the creator of the league was sleazy as fuck, rumored to use the league to fuck women/have his own harem, and mismanaged money and was forced out and GLOW shut down after a second season.

The show is known mainly for it's high camp value and the fact that one of the chief good guys (Tina Ferrari) ended up going on to get signed by the WWE and wrestled there as Ivory in the late 90s/early 00s. For ages, it was an old shame for smark wrestling as far as a bad example of what wrestling could be, but in the late 00s, a fan of the series put out a rather decent indie documentary on the history of GLOW and the women involved in it.

The documentary did so well, that it was optioned for a TV show that ended up airing on Netflix. For legal reasons, they can use the name of the wrestling league but can't use any of the wrestler names and basically created expies of all of the GLOW wrestlers or the names of the people who worked behind the scenes.

In spite of being largely in name only, it's pretty decent and is up there with "The Wrestler" in terms of being an actually decent adaptation of the real behind the scenes drama that happens in pro wrestling.

To be clear, I like all these 1:18. I admit, I don't see the big deal with Marauders, on account that they just look like Joes to me. Perhaps their market prefer the more realistic designs? But I can't argue with cowboys and fantasy and Warhammer types. Or even the beasts. They just don't make sense, monetarily speaking.

I hope these companies grow big enough one day that they can increase the size of their production runs and start penetrating other markets. Given that Hasbro's sort of given up on 1:18 for collectors, I'm actually getting more 1:12 nowadays.

For your info, I'm from Malaysia. The rate of exchange is about 4 to 1 USD.

Awhile back, I tried ordering a Knight of Asperity and maybe some Skeletons. I think the Knight was 24.99 and the Skeletons were 15 bucks a pop.

I used to order from BBTS, and the minimum shipping amount was 20 to around 25. So for me to get a single Knight of Asperity, that's USD45 = RM180.

A new Marvel Legends ranges from RM100 to RM140 (if you group buy with other collectors). If you're willing to buy 'em without the BAF, prices range from 70 to 100, depending on popularity.

So, for 1 Knight of Asperity, I could get 2 ML. Or, I can pre-order the upcoming Mezco Kong: Skull Island.

Or, I can get 5 to 9 assorted Joes for that. In fact, I recently bought Blind Master, Hard Master and Red Star for RM100. They were loose but also kinda rare where I am. Less rare Joes like PoC Firefly, could be gotten MotC for RM 30 while most loose Joes range between 18 to 30.

I know I'm comparing apples and oranges, but it's like, if you had 1 dollar, and with that dollar, you could buy 1 apple or 5 oranges, which would you go for? Even if you prefer the apple (in this case, the apple is a 1:18 super cool fantasy knight with skull heads) to the oranges (oranges are comparable to the apple, except they're oranges), the better bang for buck is in the oranges.

This is confusing to me, because when I go to their site I see the price for a BFS figure is 210 HKD, which is $26.75 US. That's only $1.75 more than the BFS store.

I actually think it will work as well as the 25th line: everyone will get excited and buy the name characters over the first five or six waves making Hasbro and retailers think the license is alive again then as it becomes bogged down in obscure characters and variants, bad distribution, and a slowly dwindling fanbase.

I use a camera from Polly Pocket for a reporter character I have (an Owen from Jurassic Park) , that line has very good everyday accesories if a little on the neon colored side but nothing a bit of paint can't fix.

Getting my first Marauder figures soon, as soon as their website gets back online I'll browse. I might even get two and gear them the fuck up.

For one I'm thinking dark green body and the black skull balaclava head. For the other one I'm loving this grey camo body I'm seeing on Google images. Might get 2-3 more head styles for the heck of it.

Accessories, for each figure I'm thinking full body armor, a regular vest, the tactical strap chest accessory (idk the name), the spartan helmet, half shell helmet, and maybe one of those pointy face mask helmets. Def getting a sticker pack so my troops can rep the USA flag. Maybe one of those neck ties or something because their necks look kinda naked. Maybe a pair of red glass goggles because that looks sick on the grey and even the green.

For weapons, which series do you recommend? Is the quality way better on the later series? I got Series #4 like 5 years ago for my 3 GI Joes and a lot of the weapons were almost unusable because the magazines and scopes wouldn't stay on at all, and most the others wouldn't fit in the Joe's hands well. Or if one could suggest individual weapons they find are easy to hold and have a tacti-cool aesthetic, that'd be great too.

I am so excited for this shit, it is my first time getting a toy in like 5 years since I got rid of my collection. I've only had like 3 GI Joe guys I keep in a drawer and fiddle around with sometimes so this would be great. I actually enjoy the playing aspect of it, not so much collecting and displaying.

more than say you what weapons and equipment buy you should think about the characters/team you want to make: demolition man (grenade launcher and explosives), heavy support (machinegun), ninja/spy (silenced pistol and katana), first line armored guy (with a combat shotgun), the sniper/long range... you can make a police team with the blue bodies or just a team with different camouflage suits, and each one adapted to his terrain (with his own accessories) also pick some Valkyries, is good to have some females too, they bring color and variety in your team and their bodies are decent looking, you also have 3 skin tones, so again the most entertaining thing is to think about the creation of your own action team a basic idea about their backstory and purpose would help, nothing complex or too deep just enough to keep you entertained

I kind of do that. I want the skull balaclava as a reminder of death as almost a memento mori/amor fati sign. I like the spartan helmet because it is a symbol of the warrior mentality that my ancestors had (family is greek, and ancestors from sparta) and I find when I activate this mentality in my life things begin to go my way. The symbol of the spartan helmet with the American flag design is especially important to me because it is a symbol of freedom. This Marauder figure would be an abstract symbol of that if I can decal his spartan helmet with the American flag logo, or the armor mask with the American flag marauder insignia or something.

Regarding accessories I imagine them to be both stealthy but can reek havoc as well. Maybe one is a gritty guns blazing action hero type and the other is stealthy.

Again, I stopped buying shit at the junkfest they called 50th. The line got cancelled because joe fans wouldnt buy any and every piece of shit they make. Toys r us went out of business because hasbro and mattel pushong diversity toys. Adults bullied the company as far back as 2012 and demanded among other things more female toys and an end to gender labeling.

All that shit is toxic,kills companies, dulls fans and alienates them, and confuses normal consumers.

They often have stuck paint in the joints but if you take care when you get one(heat the joints) it's a great figure.

I've got the city hunter pred and still has the left bicep stuck. But otherwise is a GREAT figure they are not brittle at all, they look sturdy but if I forced that joint it would snap like any other. I snapped a right hand from a 50th ann low light like a retard because it was stuck and I kept trying to turn it. So basically the preds have problems with the paint getting some joints stuck but otherwise are really amazing full of detail. 100 % recommended.

-yes but is very tiny and flat, it is not on a shoulder turret. It has like a tiny apendix that lets it slide into a rail in his shoulder armour from the top to his mid back. Thus it can be put on safety mode on his back and it can rotate while on his shoulder.
-I haven't tried this as I lack a female companion. I used the boiling water method but no luck with the bicep.

I don't care for the sequels but I may pick up the Praetorian guard if I stumble on him. I haven't even picked up Snoke, but may just because of this news. I'm thinking the new face printing will be an excuse for them to re-pop a bunch of figures that already exist, but with better paint apps. I'd expect the new tech to appear in GI Joe when the line makes it's return, since Hasbro's getting a lot of mileage out of it in their Black Series and Marvel Legends lines. They're putting out higher end looking figures, rivaling some of the expensive import toys.

I'm currently most excited for the new Storm Trooper, which they said is indeed the 5poa Rogue One Trooper's head on the body. They 3D scanned an actual person in a Trooper outfit to get the likeness that good in the first place, so it needed to be on a high articulation figure eventually.

There was supposed to be but all I saw was an IDW video saying Larry Hama was bringing Agent Helix into the ARAH comic in a mini-series book and that the regular comic would continue doing Special Missions stories for awhile, as one-shots. I suppose some do, Wizord in particular is dressed like one. That said there are some great Golden and Silver Age heroes here (as well as some modern), so I'm definitely interested in these. I even like Wizord, his book, Curse Words, is quite fun. Dreadstar is easily my top of the list here though, and I'm really hoping for more from that universe, Syzygy (he'd need to be taller than these) and High Lord Papal (needs to be taller and thicker, especially in the legs, than Savage D or Stardust) would be a great start (though at this rate who knows how long that would be).

They've been fairly slow with the updates about it recently, but as was mentioned we should be hearing more once their Eagle Force line ships out. It was supposed to have started Q1 2018 but then the whole issue with the Factory between Fresh Monkey and Zica happened (the figures were quite undersized) and making the shift to larger molds seems to have taken quite some time. They've both fairly recently sent back their paint masters I believe.

Well I just did another order since they said send the missing heads with that along with 2 bonus free items. I feel kinda scummy asking for them like they told me to, but that is some damn fine customer service.
