But I'm a huge fan of the comics and these figures are pretty good for the price. The sculpting and QC are surprisingly good for $8.99 figures (the boys and Webby are sold in two-packs for $12.99). If you want them, they're Target exclusive. I snapped a photo of my own because the promotional photos are surprisingly shitty, but I'll post the promo pics for the figures I don't have, Launchpad and Glomgold.

(I didn't include Webby because fuck Webby)

I'm into the new series, but I'm not sure about these. The articulation is so basic, which seems like a bigger slap in the face right after those pretty decent Disney Afternoon figures. The finish looks kind of cheap. And I'm unsure why their crotch/hip setup looks robotic/Legolike...was that the only solution they could think of?

I'm trying to be optimistic cause I want toys of this iteration of them, but damn, they aren't making it easy. How big would you say each figure is (I mean one of the boys and one of the adults)?

Yeah Donald's the best of the bunch IMO. He looks awesome in-hand. He's 4 inches to the top of his hat.

They scale surprisingly well with the Diamond Select Kingdom Hearts if you don't mind a bit of weeb in your Disney collection.

If you're too good for Diamond Select KH these figures probably aren't for you. These are strictly 90's era Playmates articulation.

The whole line has a certain retro charm to it. It even has its own vehicle and playset.

Nah, these look better than Diamond. They're undeniably kinda shoddily made from the looks of it, but I do dig the retro charm (that playset looks neat, if perhaps a bit under-detailed inside) and the sculpts at least look decent. There's just something stiff and soulless about those Diamond KH figures.

Not defending Diamond Selects by any stretch of the imagination, but the Pete figure is actually really good. I have him, and he's perfectly in scale with the SH Figuarts KH stuff, and his sculpt and paint job aren't too shabby. I recommend him a lot!

Donald looks great. He doesn't even look too far from his classic look, which is definitely a plus.

I wish Scrooge had the same leg articulation as Donald, but he doesn't. The old Funko Scrooge had better articulation and less of that new series look. I do love the classic red robes though.

I really want a set of the boys but they just look undeniably 2018 DuckTales.

I think for now I'll get Scrooge and Dolan and MAYBE the plane with Launchpad, but the plane is super offscale like the Playmates Seaduck where the pilot sits in front and if you're lucky at least one passenger in the back with almost non-existant sitting room.

What the hell is going on with “Shake Your Tail” in the lower left? All my figures stand just fine. They have surprisingly good balance for sub-10 dollar figures. The lack of leg articulation on Scrooge is a real bummer though. They couldn't figure out a simple way of articulating the legs around his coat so they didh't even try.

The coat skirt on mine came off so I was able to move the loosen the legs a little so he can move his legs a bit more, but the way the legs don't have much room to rotate unlike Donald.

I can see Donald becoming Gizmo Duck down the road, considering he's fucked over so much in the show that him actually being a hero to everyone would seem fitting. Gizmo's alter ego was created just for that role anyways, now with Donald on board, it'd make more sense.

Sorry if these next few pictures aren't really 'action figures' but where else am I ever gonna share these.

I bought this from my local Disney store a few weeks back, didn't think too much of it at the time and I still don't. At least Launchpad is slightly bigger than the rest of the cast. That being said these figures are around 2-3 inches; I don't have too much of a purpose for them outside of possible diorama ideas.

Ahhhhhh the funko figures. I really like the model they used for Scrooge and Darkwing, spot-on and accurate with the colours. I can appreciate the minuscule amount of articulation although I don't know if others have this problem but; My Darkwing figure can't stand on his own. The figure's entire posture is as if he's leaning back and he falls over without fail. Also DW's hand is really shoddy when it comes to holding his gas gun, again don't know if that's just my figure specifically or if it's everyones problem.

I got this WDW Classics Scrooge McDuck figurine about two years ago. This model was based off the 1967 short, "Scrooge McDuck and Money!" And I've got to say it is strikingly accurate to the animation model. I absolutely adore the attention to detail regarding Scrooge's eyes and his glasses. The gold coins really make the whole thing pop when under the right lighting.

There is one statue(?) that eludes me, I saw it once on dutch ebay and I can't find it anywhere anymore. It was a huge statue of Scrooge/Dagobert reclining on a log reading a book. It was about a meter in length and a foot or two in height. I think asking price back when I saw it was around $1400 CAD.

I'd like to own it, I'd really like to own it.

Yeah, it's shame. A lot of the Duckverse characters get overshadowed by the big five when it comes to Disney merch. The European and Japanese have so much more Duckverse merch, it's abysmal how much we have in comparison to them.

Than they started cutting costs, and getting cheap, and employed not so talented people to continue the line. Fans reacted very negatively as the characters no longer looked 100% as they did on the films. They chose to cover up the glitches by "stylizing" the figures as wood carvings, and lowered the price point. Now they are just generic shadows of what they once were in the 90s.
