Those pull down hips weren't intentional and they really didn't provide any extra motion, plus the weird hip ball joint that provided very little rotation, also, that little rotation wasn't intentional either, not that it was useful anyway.
Not really, everything is a step up from Icons, every single joint provides better range of motion and looks more natural, I don't know why they try to inverse the bend and rotation points in the torso, some import companies tried it years ago and moved on due to how ugly it looks, it does provide more arch back since that's the nature of that weird ab cut, but it's unnatural and looks terrible.
Pics of the essentials speak for themselves, leaps and bounds better than the inferior Icons, I'm glad they're gone and they're never coming back.
Also, the samefag bodies, they're samefag bodies in the comics with painted on costumes, it does the job, too much unnecessary detail on capeshit looks retarded like what Mezco does.
The downfall of Essentials will be the size and the fact that DC keeps pushing Rebirth crap nobody cares about, but they'll die being better than Icons.
