>>7089024The last one bombed hard in part because it was overpriced for what it did, in part because it was of a Godzilla people wanted but in a scale they didn't, and in part because it wasn't as articulated as previous Monsterarts releases on account of the electronics hindering waist articulation.
Shin, however, is capable of dealing with all of the above. Past releases have shown that people will drop rape bucks for Shin stuff so the increased price won't be as big a deterrent, Shin himself is a fucking giant so being larger than previous figures won't be an issue, and Shin never displayed much articulation period so the lack thereof won't be such a hindrance.
Also a Shin with light-up gimmicks and the ability to play Sagisu's score would be just about the best Shin figure ever if Bandai could fix the unforgivable paint quality. More than any other Godzilla, I think Shin would benefit from the KKK treatment. I'd buy one if Bandai got their shit together and didn't cock up the paint like they keep doing.
Unfortunately, since the picture makes it look like the paint is still the same shit as Bandai's other Shins, I think I'll have to pass.
