I wanted to get into customizing action figures and was trying to think of something relatively easy and cheap to start.
My plan is to turn ML Kitty Pryde into
D.va since the suit is similar and especially the face is quite fitting (as I’m definitely not able to paint/ sculpt facial features yet). the belt is easy to get rid of and I’d just need to sand down the yellow parts on the torso a bit. The only unfitting part are the gauntlets, but I think sanding should work here as well, right? I basically just wanted to know how feasible it seems to do this as a sort of beginner project. I do have some experience with slight modifications to model kits (also planning to do bigger stuff in the future).
I already own sculpting putty and some coincidentally fitting tamiya colors. I guess what I would need most are sculpting tools, right?
