Basically I feel like some decisions about the line probably arbritrarily ping pong back and forth between 'kids want something recognizable!' and 'kids want carnivores!', and sometimes more arcane reasonings, depending on who's making the choice at the time.

I'm trying to actually remember the last line I was interested in where the toy that was shortpacked -wasn't- a big seller that just enabled the hell out of scalpers.
