And as humans, a big part of our human experience is gendered, and also romantic .
And I do believe that people such as James Roberts do understand that, but they fail to also understand two things:
1-There are plenty of already established romantic partnerships in transformers, the most famous of which is probably optimus and elita one
2- A same sex relationship is different from a duel sex relationship, as once again, two of the same type of person is going to be different from two different types of person. And so by doing things such as rewind and chromedome, they will either not relate to a large portion of readers, or they are going to misrepresent they way things are.
