The only artificially, monetarily valuable ones will be super limited exclusives of characters from niche but expensive mediums (example: the cereal brand mascots). Also any well done figures of characters that get little to no merchandise, but are somehow the best of the little merchandise they havs out there. I dont mind POPs, and have a few myself (mostly monsters/robots like Gigantor, Balrog, Krampus). I think Funko should slow down on big licenses, like DC and Disney, and focus on the niche stuff more. Them having a Pokemon license worries me. Apparently the Pikachu POP was causing grief for Target employees. I hate having even more toy collectors have this nasty stigma attatched to them because of bad eggs these things cause. I am not singling out just Pokemon, but it is not good when only one figure of potentially many is causing that.
