>>71125691. Nope. I used to work there and the store price matched with certain stores all the time, we even had a sign that said it in giant letters at the front of the store. All you had to do was show the listing online on the phone for what it was going for, and we changed it. If it wouldn't let us do it, we had a manager override it. It wasn't that hard.
2. The website was kinda bad and never got the serious update it needed. The same could be the said for a lot of stuff for the store because they focused too much on the debt to actually keep stuff updated and working right.
3. Nope, while electronics and stuff have taken a bigger hold than it used to, kids will always be interested in toys. The store was always busy around the holidays, and there were a lot of toys that were popular that would sell out very quickly. Once I had a mom tell me that her kid uses Youtube to look at box openings for toys, and the kid couldn't even speak words yet. So no, kids do still love toys ,they just use the internet and stuff to learn about them, kinda taking place of commercials to an extent.
>>7112354I hope all the people I worked with all found better jobs, but as a company ToysRUs kinda deserved to go under, especially after they screwed over anyone who wasn't a CEO. Plus a lot of the customers were really rude and tried to get away with ripping the store off all the time, so now they gotta go somewhere else to do that.
