It was like ten minutes before closing time, so it was there at least for a whole day and it was out in the open near the entrance. It was hanging there with a bunch of Episode 1 figures.
I also passed it by when i came into the store. Just saw it and thought "Huh, this is a grail for a lot of people on /toy/ and probably fetches a lot of money" and went to the fantasy/scifi section to see what new books they had.
They didn't really have much and since i didn't want to leave empty handed, i went back to the toy section in the front and bought it.
The cashier smiled real big when he saw me bringing it to the counter, so he probably knew its value.
And since the mint in box collector who died kept the figure in some area of the house with poor ventilation, high humidity and heat, the card came off really easily from the bubble, leaving a lot of the artwork intact.
I'm not sure what idid with the packaging, but it's likely been trashed and my Raziel is currently sitting at the bottom of a box with other newer figures laying ontop of him.
