>>7146402There's two major mini/micro lines right now I'd watch for the success of. One is the Polly Pocket re-reboot that looks pretty swell. Not as detailed as the old Bluebirds, but plenty of features in each set I've seen. There's two parts to the line: The 'normal' Polly and the Pocket Polly, Normal's about 1/18 scale, has a playset and a vehicle devoted to her. The playset is a Transformation playset, where she spins into the closet while her pocket-sized form and various Pocket activities are revealed. Each pocket-scale figure has some gummy rubber material for part of the body, which can stick to the special stickers that come with or are on the sets (I think this is the same material that Mattel was using to try and make dartgun darts/targets with). Pretty good line so far.
The other is a Shopkins related line, which is pretty much old Bluebird style compacts with peg/slot spots for the figures. Looks pretty good.
As to who owns Mighty Max, if anyone, I think it's Mattel's property, given that he and Polly were both under that umbrella before.
