>>7122395I'm not an artist but here's a very rough design where you can see what I'm talking about.
There's a top down view then a super rough profile view below it, the set would be ever so slightly raised on a platform larger than the base to give it the illusion of it's classic round shape. The set would be constructed almost like a doughnut, with a large hole in the center for Luke to fall down with a slanted bottom leading to an opening where a weather vane sticks out next to the landing pad. A few vanes and little clouds can be out through here. Still include the cloud car and slave one. A cool function of the set would be that the duel area with the blow out window, the room with the pipes, and the final showdown bridge would all be attached like an elevator. For normal display it would be level with the rest of the set with the "I am your father" platform resting inside the center, covered up by a removable cloud city top piece. But you can take that off and lift the entire section, locking it in place to create height and a falling feature. The rest is all pretty straight forward, a series of connected rooms:
1: Landing pad w slave 1
2. Main hallway w windows that taper down to nothing to keep the set open
3. Main "nice" room, entrances from (2, 4, 9)
4. Carbon freeze room, entrances from (3, 10)
5. Duel chamber w break away window set up as an elevator style platform
6. Cloud car and weather vanes, entrance from base of pit (7)
7. I am your father platform and giant pit
8. Incinerator room, entrance from main hallway(2)
9. Dining room betrayal, entrance from main nice room (3)
10. Prison cell and interrogation table, entrance from carbon freeze chamber (4)
I know the picture is garbage but if you can make sense of it I think this is a way better version of a similar concept.
