And now there's the stupid shit they're pulling with Roll Caskett, doubling the MSRP and dividing essential accessories between two releases of the same figure in hopes that you'll spend $150 for the complete 4" toy. Compare this to Figuarts, Figma, and Revoltech which offer 6" scaled figures with the same amount of accessories or greater for the price of just one of these Roll releases.

I actually still liked the line despite the first four issues. I can't excuse malicious greed, though.

I don't mind the size of the figures, I personally see Mega Man as a shorter character anyway so at that size he fits in with the rest of my 1/12 collection. But I agree that too many repaints and not enough other characters coupled with this insane accessory bullshit is too much. First it was Lan being a glorified statue accessory pack and now Roll.

It's not a curse if you choose your next character based on a small subset of a small subset of fans of the series.

MMZ has its fans, but it's no where near the majority. And very few of them care about its toys. I'm a huge MMZ fan but its fanbase is completely delusional.

Capcom can't profit from MMZ. It's a matter of time until the series is retconned and the series goes back to MMX.

I was thinking about this earlier and I'd actually be okay with it. X series isn't a stranger to alternate endings and divergent timelines. MMZ kinda started on an alternate timeline to begin with and had to be written back in.

I think it has to do with whether or not Eurasia crashed. X6 says the hunters destroyed it successfully but Earth gets pelted with debris. Z4 says it did crash and shows a lot of it as an intact foundation for Area Zero.

I imagine that the people who just want a nice-looking figure of their waifu would've just bought one of the many statues out there for FGO characters. Sentinel fucked up with the Fate 4inchnels; most of them are too small to appeal to people who want articulated figures but are coming out too late for the people who just want a figure of any kind who've already bought the statues.

People buy 1/18 figures so I don't see the problem, also X sell well and Fate is more popular than Megaman (sadly).

Fatefans will buy statues and those figures because they liked those characters, people buy figures because it are articulated, if the figure is small or big is subjetive.

I too was impressed that we got Power, Jet and Super Adapter Mega and Cut Man so early. Hub Style EXE too.

Tbh I got stuck with a Zero for $8 and he wasn't even worth that. The facesculpt is crap and the paint is sloppy and cheap. The joints don't have much range and are borderline useless, and the head throws off its balance about as much as you'd expect.

I really wanted to support that line on principle for the MMX merch and robot masters, but they're just really, really bad.

They're alright, I like the Rock Volnutt the best as it has the best proportions. X and EXE have this weird thing going on like the designer couldn't decide whether they should be SDs or not. Their head to body ratios are just weird, they didn't push it far enough in either direction. And classic just looks horrible, I don't know what they were thinking with that face.

Joint range is pretty lackluster too, especially considering how phenomenal the range was on some of the Kamen Rider 66action figures. I do like the size though, they're perfect for unobtrusive desk toys.

I don't think the proportions and small size of the line would suit Tron unfortunately, and sadly I think the set pricepoint and box size kind of eliminate options like Guts Man.

This is a pretty little-known fact, but Cut Man was actually the first Mega Man character created. I doubt any of the toy companies know this though, it's probably just because he's the first robot master most Mega Man fans encountered.

but the way youve been insisting on that fact makes me project that you see they are equal to late Toybiz Marvel toys (with all their connected ball joints and full/versatile rotation range), but i only see that theyre only as good as early Toybiz Marvel (just hinge and swivel joints).
