I got SHF Solo Chewie because I missed the first one.

Don't fuck around with imports lads, just buy it when it's first released. I watched A New Hope Chewie climb from 7000 to 13,000 yen, with no chance of falling unless he gets reissued. He's not even an exclusive, not even jedi Luke or Maul reached that insane latecomers tax.

I picked up my SHF Chewie about a year ago. CDJapan had a crazy flash deal on "damaged goods" and they had one for 20 dollars. I bought him so fucking quick. Damaged in Japanese terms, is a slight ding on the box. I think he goes for so much because he is the best Chewie on the market, bar none.

BTW, don't even bother with ROTJ Luke. I own the reissue and he is more trouble than it's worth. Barely looks like Mark Hamill and his left hand can snap at any moment if I want to change his hand. He is my biggest disappointment this year

I own the original release Luke, the peg isn't broken ""yet"" but it's obvious that it won't last with future hand swaps. The peg system on these figures is flawed in general, my ep2 Anakin's left wrist broke and farmboy Luke's comes apart requiring heat and tweezers every time I swap hands.

Strange, beyond my SHF Luke I have never had any problems with any of my Star Wars figures. I have lots of troopers and a few main characters. Luke is by far the biggest let down.

All of the troopers if I recall correctly have chunkier pegs which are much easier to swap out hands.
It's mostly the jedi who are flawed with tiny brittle pegs.
Jango Fett also has the larger good quality wrist pegs despite being a wobbly mess of a figure overall.

I just got these two and Shenron today. Shenron doesn't really seem worth the money(you can't pose him much), but I had to get him for a DB centerpiece. I'm pleased with Roshi, they can release him again as Jackie Chun with swappable torsos and that would be great.
