What's the next innovation in adult oriented figures? Material that is both rigid and mallable? Wouldn't that completely removed the need for ugly joints and cuts to the sculp?

I think combing sculpts and cloth is the best solution.
If it's skintight, sculpt. If it's baggy, cloth.
You don't have to go all in one way or the other.
