Nothing is more pleb than buying catered highly marketed researched focused group crap that it exists solely to make you buy merch, whether its lolishit, movieshit, and most TVshit.
Only a few brands are like that though, in that they make toys of just licensed shit, like LEGO or MegaBloks. Whereas companies like Hasbro, Bandai, or Mattel make a ton of licensed highly marketed merch, but they also make toys for those niche fans who value and are invested in a series more than some casual movie fan or kid who'll forget about it when the next flavor of the month appears.
