I can easily sum up my own dissatisfaction with lego but I can't speak for anyone else.

take your average lego, slap license fee on it. that's what you're dealing with. me, I have to pay 27% VAT on top plus whatever the greedy shop throws at me. I keep track of prices and it's getting fucking stupid by now.

it feels like they go out of their way to put the most boring gray boxes in every movie. they simply don't look visually interesting on screen, or in lego format.
but the worst is, I had to lose normal lego space sets for this garbage.
I love building with lego still, but I can't force myself to buy anything other than creator sets. thank fuck creator is still great.
