is it just me or have there not been any toy discount sales in major US retailers at all, even during TRU's last 6 months?

i guess gamestop had like 2, but not much else from anyone else

TRU dying was the last nail in the competition. Wal-mart was so cheap because they were competing against KB and TRU and the remaining independent stores. They won now, no reason to compete. Target doesn't give a shit about toys, just targeting people who want to feel they're better than people shopping at Wal-mart(i.e. people who wouldn't be buying toys for themselves)

I've noticed Walmart has shrunk their isles down a bit, at this point they probably carry more online than in the actual stores.
