If it wasn't for size and distribution completely stopping in the US after just two or so waves I'd agree the OV toys surpassed their predecessors. As is I think UA had the more overall solid figures and lineup out of Bandai's meager offerings.
But yeah, Playmates really blows all that shit out of the water. I just wish it was designs I liked more.
