>>7155423Yeah, I get that a lot of people just dislike the BW aesthetic in general, but sticking Beast era heads on blockier bodies,with some exception, just looks awkward to me. All the hard edges and flat surfaces just reminds me of all those shitty Botcon exclusives where you have . a90's as fuck BW head slapped on some chunky Cybertron or Combiner wars figure. At least Perfect effect makes an effort to make their Beast stuff look different enough ; even if I hate their Lio Convoy's whole look and dislike Megatron's dragon mode look for being too wimpy looking(that robot mode is gorgeous, though.)
You don't even need to make them beasts, really, but at least make the beast era characters look in line withthe aesthetic of the era. Even non Beasts from the time, like Fire Convoy, would look off done in a more traditional, blocky style.
