Considering he's just an accessory for an oversized torso set, they actually did give him a surprising amount of articulation. The shoulders have swivel hinge joints, as do the elbows. The neck and ab joints offer a great range of motion and he even has boot and wrist swivel joints. I was expecting him to be a tiny little statue but from the waist up he's just as articulated as any other action figure out there. My complaint with him doesn't lie in his articulation, but in the lack of paint apps. His web design is molded onto his body, but not painted so it's not easy to see.

To be fair that was a prototype and the head was made smaller for final release. But personally I still think it's too big and that particular Venom figure is pretty goddamn bad.
I love the Marvel Legends line, have since I started collecting with the Spider-Man Classics figures as a teenager and I still pick up characters I like. But there are a lot of fags around here that act like Hasbro can do no wrong and any criticism aimed at them or the figures they release automatically makes you a piece of shit. Pure mental illness.

Take a look at the articulation hasbro packed onto the last 3.75" ewok figure.

They really didn't bother with spider Ham, seeing that it's 6", you could probably add knee joints as well and a ball joint torso.

I'm pretty sure the lack of effort on Spider-Ham is a result of cost distribution for the BAF. He comes with a massive torso and another big piece that clips on to the back, as well as the Pork Grind head for Venom. All that had to be offset somewhere.
