>>7172627Definitely not, Visionaires, Micronauts, MASK, all of those will have to become successes off of their own merits, they can't at all bank on nostalgia as they were hardly a big deal to begin with. But Hasbro is aiming to bring them back, so hopefully they try to make a good movie first, before thinking about anything else. If the movie is good, the property has a chance, and good toys would help with attracting attention too.
DnD I feel has a good chance, as RPGs seem to have quite a bit of public awareness, though one would have to wonder how they'd go about making a movie, if they'd use the RPG elements or just set it in a fantasy world.
Their obvious headliner will be Transformers, with the next two biggest being GIJoe and Power Rangers. Everything else is under those. They need to focus on making good standalone movies before considering anything like crossovers (cameos might work, as a cheap way to boost interest). I feel like it could be successful if that's the goal (and the movies actually end up good).
